FAB TUTOR — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

FAB TUTOR is a learning app by FabLearner (fablearner.com) that helps young children (about 2–7 years old) learn to read, with a parent sitting beside them. This page explains, in simple words, what information the app uses and what happens to it.

The short version: we store your account and your child's learning progress. Your child's voice is checked and then thrown away — it is never saved. We show no ads and we never sell data.

Who helps us run the app

We use a small number of trusted services. They only receive what is needed to do their job:

ServiceJobWhat it receives
SupabaseAccounts and database Your account and progress data (voice passes through but is not stored)
SpeechaceChecks pronunciation The child's short recording (deleted after checking) and the target word
Google (Gemini)Generates tutor speech Lesson context only — never the child's voice

Parental consent

Before any child can use the app, the parent must sign in and agree to these terms on a consent screen. If the terms change, we ask again.

Security

All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Every family's data is isolated — one parent can never see another family's information. Service keys are kept on our servers, never inside the app.
